adidas Originals, Brain Dead and Disney turn the 1994 Predator into a street shoe for the 2026 World Cup
A three-way collab reimagines the original 1994 adidas Predator as a lifestyle sneaker with swappable Disney-pinned tongues, plus a full '90s-inspired kit range. Limited quantities from June 29.

Three of the most distinct visual identities in culture just fused into one drop. adidas Originals (opens in a new tab), Los Angeles creative studio Brain Dead (opens in a new tab) and Disney (opens in a new tab) released a football-themed collection on June 29, 2026 — timed to the FIFA World Cup 2026 (opens in a new tab), reimagining the legendary 1994 adidas Predator boot as a full-blown street sneaker, and pulling ''90s World Cup kit design into a Mickey-Mouse-printed 2026 wardrobe.
The centerpiece: adidas Predator x Brain Dead by Disney
The 1994 Predator changed football. This is the first time it has been rebuilt as a lifestyle shoe.
- Molded rubber upper — the exact instantly-recognizable Predator overlay, unchanged
- Heavy rubber outsole — swaps the studs for a walk-anywhere platform
- Two removable foldover flap tongues — one faux croc leather, one patent leather
- Six vintage-inspired pins featuring Disney characters that clip into the perforated patent tongue, so the same shoe can be styled six different ways
- Mickey Mouse and Brain Dead key chains finish the shoe
The whole design language treats the Predator like a canvas — Brain Dead brings the subculture logic, Disney brings the graphic library, adidas brings the archive.
The kit collection — three colorways, pure ''90s
The apparel side nods hard to the Italia ''90 through USA ''94 era, without ever feeling like a costume. Three matching football-kit sets (jersey + shorts + socks) in:
- Yellow with green and black stripes
- White with green and red stripes
- Blue with white and red stripes
Every kit is loaded with the details streetwear collectors chase: flock-printed Disney characters on the jersey sleeves, flock-printed Disney logo on the chest, a Brain Dead logo in the neckline, and an all-over Mickey Mouse print. The shorts carry the same print. Socks feature embroidered Disney characters.
Rounding out the drop: a graphic-printed Donald Duck T-shirt, crinkled nylon shorts, a track top with Disney character patches, and a graphic-printed scarf. This is a full head-to-toe wardrobe, not a capsule.
Why this collab lands harder than most
Most streetwear-meets-Disney partnerships lean on cuteness. This one leans on archive credibility. adidas is putting one of the three most important boots in football history back into the market. Brain Dead is one of the few streetwear labels with the visual restraint not to over-print it. Disney is providing the ''90s childhood aesthetic that overlaps almost exactly with the era of that original Predator.
The result is a collection that plays equally well on a football pitch, in a skatepark, at a museum opening, or on any late-summer trip abroad.
